Our "Heininger Family" goes back a long way to Sindelfingen, Germany. Various family members have recorded information which was originally researched by Agnes Heininger after World War I. Agnes sent the information to Jenny Heininger of Kiel, who recorded it for the family's posterity.
The earliest "Heininger" Agnes found, was Mathaeus Heininger born in 1597 in "Sommerthu, Gehoerig Sankt Georgen". This is in the neighbourhood of Sindelfingen. This research is on-going and various family members in Australia and Germany are adding to it.

The Clifford research dates back to Robert Clifford who arrived in South Australia in December of 1838 aboard the "Gem", a coastal trader. He sailed from Port Phillip, then part of New South Wales, but I haven't been able to find out how he got there.

I am doing further research into the family of John Burbidge, whose descendants have changed the name to "Bobridge" or "Bowbridge".Like most South Australian families, John Burbidge came from England. A lot of my information has come from other researchers and I am grateful to them for their help.

There is also an ongoing research into the following families. Coulter, Oldman, Scott, Dawson, Hillary. The Perry connection has been thoroughly researched by others.
