I am researching the Karl Heinz family, who emigrated to Canada in 1900 from Unterwalden (Podhajczyki), Galacia.
This database now consists of 952 individuals from 12 generations.

I am also researching the Ludwig Henkelmann (my mother's) family, who emigrated to Canada from Ludwikowka, Volhynia in 1894.
This database consists of 1684 individuals from 10 generations.

It turns out that those two villages were only about 340 km apart, and about 800 km NE of my Father-in-law's birthplace.
(Galacia and Volhynia are neighbouring provinces of the Ukraine)

I am also researching the Johann Goerz (my wife's) family, who emigrated to Canada from Slavgorod, Siberia, in 1926.

I appreciate any new information on these families and am happy to share my information with other researchers.

On June 8, 2011, I removed the reports on the Heinz, Henkelman and Goerz family Trees due to concern from some family members about identity theft.
Feel free to contact me on this subject if you wish.
