I am looking for help on my gg grandfather and family. Heil, Philip b. Dec. 1830, Bavaria, Germany, m. Mary Greinner b. Feb. 1838 in Hesse Dormstardt, Germany. What were names of Philip and Mary's siblings? Their children were: Frank born in NY(where in NY?)abt 1863, Philip L b. Aug. 1864 in Ohio. 1878 All others born in OH except Frank, he was born in NY. Believe they came to America around 1860. In 1860 they came over from Germany to NY then moved to Ohio by 1864. They lived in Cherry Grove.

Looking for more info about Frank Heil born 1863 in New York and moved between 1880 - 1890 to Louisana, probably Marrero since that is his listed place of death in 1945. Would love more info on Frank. Seems he fell off the face of the earth as I can't find anything more about him.
Any information about any of these ancestors would be greatly appreciated. At some point in time, I would like to know how/why they migrated to Ohio after coming over on the ships to America from Germany. I would also like to know what is the name of the ship and date they arrived. Philip was said to have imigrated to the US in 1860.
