| Interested in the following surnames: HEIM, HASPERT, KOEHLER(KOHLER,KAHLER), KNOB, LEICHTLING; These were "Volga Germans" who immigrated to the United States in the early 1900's from Russia. Their ancestors emigrated from Germany to Russia under the rule of Catherine the Great. Seeking information on children of George and Anna (Knob) HEIM, (Volga Germans who settled in Baltimore), and their descendants. OF SPECIAL INTEREST, any DESCENDANTS of KOEHLER FAMILIES who came from this Volga River Region near Saratov, Russia, who may have a family history of AORTIC ANEURYSMS. (I have medical information that would be of interest.) Also searching for information on HEINSOHN's, from near the villages of or near Oppeln, Odisheim, Cadenberge, Lamstedt (Hannover) Germany. Also researching the following surnames-PIERSON, SMITH, WOOLFORD, BOOKER, GOULD, JONES, COUNCELL. The Pierson/Jones surnames lived in Baltimore in the mid 1800's. I'm also looking for information about one David Smith-son of Elizabeth Smith of Pennsylvania/Delaware/Maryland. He spent most of his life in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, and had 11 children during his second marriage to Wilhelmina Lane. Also interested in the surnames USILTON (USSLETON), TRUITT, SPARKS, LARRIMORE, HOLLIDAY (Hollyday), McCLYMENT, hailing from the Eastern Shore of Maryland (mainly Queen Anne, Talbot, Caroline, or Kent Counties). Some may also have roots in the state of Delaware. Of particular interest, any information on family of Aquilla M. Usilton (d:1839) and his wife Temperance. |
