HEITZ FAMILY RESEARCH 1. Nicolaus Heitz was born about 1838 in Germany and died 10/10/1901 in Dubuque, Tablemound Township, Iowa. He married Anna Geherens in Jan 1871 in Dubuque, Iowa, USA, the daughter of Frank Geherens and Margaret Connors. Anna was born 5/3/1854 in Belgium and died on 7/29/1923 in Dubuque, Iowa, USA. Nicolaus and Anna Heitz had 12 children.
2. Johann Friedrich Hermann Haupt (aka: Herman), the son of Martin Carl Fredrich Haupt and Wilhelmina Westphal, born 10/18/1857 in Germany. Herman married Emelia Fredericka Louise Lübke, daughter of William and Wilhelmina Lubke in 1881 and immigrated to the US in 1885 on the ship, the S.S. California. Herman Haupt and his family settled in Faribault, Rice, Minnesota, USA and have four children. Emilia died in 1915 and Herman married Anna B. Lawranz. Herman's brother Carl Friedrich Ferdinand also immigrated and settled in Faribault, Minnesota.
3. John Francis Lipsey was born in 1824 in Pulaski, Kentucky, USA. He was the son of John Lipsey and Angeletta Luetty Combs and married Nancy Whitsett on 11/1/1843 in Franklin, Johnson, Indiana. She is the daughter of John Whitsett and Mary Ann Blankenship and was born on 2/11/1824 in Johnson, Indiana. John and Nancy Whitsett had 5 children. On 8/21/1855, Nancy Whitsett Lipsey married Peter Albert Banta in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois, USA and they had 6 children.
4. Carl William Michaels was born about 1861 in Germany to William and Augusta Michaelis. The Michaelis family immigrated to US in unknown year. Carl married Matilda Augusta Siehndel on 3/11/1881 in Cleveland, Le Sueur, Minnesota, USA. Matilda Siehndel was born 8/6/1862 in Le Sueur, Minnesota, the daughter of John W. Siehndel and Wilhelmina Tesch. Matilda was divorced from Carl William Michaelis on 10/21/1903 (MN DISTRICT COURT FILE #5410) in Le Sueur, Minnesota, USA. She died on 22 Oct 1918 in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota and is buried in Savidge Lake Cemetery, Cleveland, Minnesota.
HANNON FAMILY RESEARCH 1. Patrick H. Hannon born about 1835 in Ireland and married Mary Katherine Connelly in Galway on 2/17/186. On 5/5/1884, the family arrived in Boston on the ship, S.S. Prussian. Patrick and Mary had 9 children and lived in St. Paul, MN. Pat died 11/18/1921, Mary died 2/18/1920. Both Patrick and Mary are buried at Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul, Minnesota.
2. Martin Frank Diehl was born 1/15/1824 in Zeilbach, Vogelsbergkreis, Hessen, Germany. Martin Frank Diehl married Mary Margaret Dull (DOB: 10/30/1831) and son of Franklin Dull on 10/19/1848 in Preston, Virginia. In 1854, they moved to Rossville, Iowa and had 12 children. They are buried in the Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, Iowa.
3. Hans Peter Welling (aka: Pete Welling) was born on 7/4/1875 in Eureka, Polk, Wisconsin, USA. He was the fourth child born to Jens Laursen Welling and Karen Gregersen. On 1/14/1899, he married Cleopatra Bigelow, the daughter of Admiral Manley Bigelow and Effie Jane Latson. Pete Welling worked as a carpenter is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, south of Duluth, Minnesota, USA. Cleo Bigelow was born 12/19/1879 in Clam Falls, Polk, Wisconsin and died on 2/12/1961 in St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA.

George John Gagner (aka: Johan Gerhard Gagner) was the son of John Olaf Gagner and Christina Erickson was born 9/24/1881 in Sartvik Sunsvald, Sweden and arrived 1897 in New York, USA on the ship Soveign, Njurumada. George, like his father, John Olaf, was a fine wood carpenter and worked with lumber and in construction. George married Inga Pedersdatter, daughter of Peder Tostensen and Marit Amanda Olson who was born 1/8/1884 in Norway and immigrated to the US on 5/13/1904 on the ship Christina. They resided in Barron, Wisconsin and buried in Nora Cemetery, Rice Lake, Barron, Wisconsin, USA.
