Find Family

My research began with my great grand parents, Oscar Ivar Andeson and his wife, Olga Olivia Renstrom. They arrived from Vadstena, Sweden in 1899 and settled in the Chicago area. They had one son, Oscar Elmer. Olga had her brother, Nils David Renstrom and a sister, Ester Teresia Renstrom, follow her to Chicago.
David had a wife, Anna, whom he married here in Chicago.
They had a good friend, maybe related, Charles Erick Falck, who died at 25, but left a sister, Amada Falck.

I now am overseas in my research and have found that Ivar's parents were William Oskar and Augusta Charlotta Anderson. In 1920 they were still living near Vadstena when Augusta Charlotta
died. The obituary states that Ivar had one or more married
sisters with children in Sweden, as well as, many other relatives. I am still trying to find Augusta Charlotta's maiden name and that of the sisters. So far the Vicar's Office in Vadstena has had no leads for me.

The Renstroms had three more children who remained in Sweden. Their history is included with the genealogy report and now goes back to 1780's.

Going forward in time, after Olga died at 33 leaving Ivar with a
9 year old son, Ivar remarried a woman named, Hannah. They had
3 children, Hildur, Viola and Wilbur. The daughters married and had children, but these cousins are lost to us. So far my efforts
are fruitless, but I'm also still learning!

The major surnames I am researching right now are: ANDERSON, RENSTROM,WILSON, PRINDLE, RIEMER, CARLSON, RUDMAN, FALCK, VAVRA.
These families would all have lived in the Chicago area. If the
surname is one you are working on, please, check my genealogy report to see if there are any matches. I would appreciate any possible leads and gladly share any information I have.
