Family gathering at the Heinrich East 3rd Street house in Brooklyn, these are probably most of the family of Martin and Lena Heinrich's children, and grandchildren. Great grandfather, John Heinrich at the rear left under the drapery, smoking a pipe. John was born in 1863 and was the second oldest son; Frank was the oldest, born in 1861. Other family members here include George Messig, son of John's sister Elizabeth Heinrich and his wife Martha.
