General Sterling Price Family Home Page

Searching for information on the family line of General Sterling Price, born September 14, 1809 in Price Edward County, Virginia and died September 29, 1867 in Missouri. He married Martha Head on May 14, 1833 in Keytesville Missouri. They had six living children, Amanda, Celsus, Heber, Athol, Quintus and Edwin.
The Generals parents were Pugh Williamson Price, born January 4, 1775 and Elizabeth Ross, born 1794.

He was Missouri Speaker of the House in the General Assembly, a United States Congressman and Governor of Missouri from 1853 to 1857.

I am specifically interested in information concerning the years from 1800 to 1950, but would welcome any information that concerns this family line.
