Currently researching information on Marvel Helton's father. Marvel Helton was born in Virginia, or Tennessee circa 1780. Marvel died 1847 in Hawkins Co, TN, at age 67.
He married Agnes ? date unknown. Agnes was born circa 1790 in Tennessee. Agnes died before 1879 in probably, Hawkins Co, TN, at age unknown.
By 1850, Agnes was widowed. The census found her living next to her son, Pleasant; in her house were two of his children, her son Thomas, and two young women, otherwise unidentified, named Milly Helton, age 25, and Therissa Helton, age 12. In 1860, Milly had aged to 30; other residents with Agnes were Ruthy Lipe, age 22, and two unplaced Helton children, Elizabeth, 12, and Charles, 1.

HARRISON was born July 25, 1884, and died January 09, 1979. He married ROSETTA MAE LEWIS, daughter of FRANCIS LEWIS and ELIZABETH HARBOUR.
Bill Wallis Lewis was married to Elvira Nash on the Cherokee Reservation in NC. Elvira Nash was 100% French from France. They had s. Marion Francis Lewis and called him Frank. He married Elizabeth Jane Harbour. They had Rosetta.
