My ancestry and family includes the German names Helweg, Hartmann, Weiss and Pfeiffer and the Scottish or English names Montgomery, Wicker, Anderson and Hawkins. I represent two factions who settled Texas, those Scottish or English who came from the Southeastern United States and those from Germany who began settlement in Texas independence days. |
