My father is Kenneth Hale Helm who was born in Minnesota in 1921 to Nellie Agnes Matson and Charles Ludolph Helm. Charles Helm was born Jho Schwanke, his father died when he was 13 and he was adopted by Ernest Helm. His mother's name was Anna Schyununska. His biological father's name was Joe Schwanke. Joe and Anna were both immigrants from Poland. |
