He married ETHEL SARAH GRANT³⁶⁷ 1922 in Lyle, Mower County, Minnesota³⁶⁷, daughter of JOHN GRANT and CARRIE. She was born August 15, 1904 ^368,³⁶⁹, and died May 28, 1982 in Albert Lea, Freeborn County, Minnesota ^370,³⁷¹.

      Funeral services for Edward J. Levy, 93, who died May 6 at Sacred Heart Hospice where he resided, will be held 3 P.M. Friday at Crane Community Chapel, the Rev. Joe Matt officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
      Friends may call at Mayer Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday and at the church one hour before the service on Friday.
      Mr. Levy was born April 11, 1899, in Austin to James and Anna (Helebrant) Levy.
      Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward, Jr., and Frances Levy, Brownsdale, John and Lillian Levy, Algona, Iowa, and Delmar and Shirley Levy, Owatonna; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marian and Harold Lobbins, New London, and Marilyn and David Tebay, Austin; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Esther Levy, Austin. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ethel, two sons, Robert and Leonard, one grandchild, one brother and one sister.
      Music will be by Joe Matt and Jan Hansen. Casketbearers will be Dale, Danny, Roger, and Norman Levy, Duane Lobbins and Marty Tebay.

Ethel Sarah Levy was born August 15, 1904, in Iowa, the daughter of John and Carrie Grant.
She graduated from Austin High School in 1921 and Austin High School Normal Training in 1922.
Ethel was united in marriage with Edward J. Levy in 1922, at Lyle, Minn.
Edward and Ethel were engaged in farming and at the time of her death resided at Austin Rt. 5.
On May 28, 1982, Ethel died at Naeve Hospital, Albert Lea, Minn.
Preceding her in death were one son; two grandsons; her parents; two brothers; one sister.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; four sons, Edward Levy Jr., Brownsdale, John Levy, Algona, Iowa, Leonard Levy, Hampton, Iowa, Delmar Levy, Owatonna; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Marian) Lobbins, New London, Minn., Mrs. David (Marilyn) Tebay, Austin; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 12 o'clock noon, June 1, 1982, at Crane Community Chapel, Rev. Joe Matt officiating. Soloist was Rev. Matt, with Bernice Moe as organist. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens, with Mayer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Dan Levy, Duane Lobbins, Dennis Lobbins, Dale Levy, Norman Levy, Roger Levy. Honorary pallbearers were David Lobbins and Marty Tebay.
