Rachel and Sarah Helton are my twin daughters. On their father's side we are researching the following families: Helton, McCloud, Hayter, Elrod, Maiden On their mother's side we are researching the following families: Mullins, Boggs, Addingtons Our research has mainly shown our latest generations all to be in Virginia. The Helton (Hylton, Hilton) line in Floyd, Grayson County, Virginia has us stumped right now with George W. Helton born in 1827 in Floyd County. The Hayter line has been traced back to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the early 1700's. Likewise, the Elrods come from Pennsyvania in the 1700's. The Addingtons came from England straight to Virginia. |
