| In 1881 the family of Wilhelm Wiecking came to the US from Essen, Germany. In the group were Wilhelm and his wife Katharina Klever Rodenberg Wiecking. The rest of the family was their son John Wiecking and some of the children from Katharina's previous marriaage to Peter Rodenberg. They were Henry, Frank and Agnes Rodenberg.They settled in Belleville, Illinois In 1902 Katharina died. Wilhelm returned to Germany never to be heard of again. I have been unable to find any further information on him. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. |
