Mabern Frank Hendren (son of John F. Hendren and Agnes Elizabeth Lynn)^{1124, 1125} was born May 29, 1915 in near Fouke, Miller County, AR^{1126, 1127}. He married Charlotte Knox on August 09, 1945 in Baton Rouge, LA¹¹²⁸, daughter of James Rowles Knox and Florence Eugenia Forgy.

Served Army WWII in South Pacific,machine gun sargent,Co M, 145th Inf. was in all action form staging in New Zealand;Suva,Fifi;Guadal Canal;New Georgia;Bougainville;Lungan Gulf Phillipines, and march on Manilla..38months. Returned on 'banana boat' thru Panama Canal,Norfork VA,thru St.Louis,to Ft.Smith(discharged),New Orleans,Fayetteville(VJ),PineBluff to work for Ark County Extension Service.
Worked for Ed Don & Co of Chicago (AR&OK territory) selling restuarant and hotel equip until retiring in abt 1980. He then took care of all the 'old folks' in neighborhood and did handyman work including managing the Fred Dierks home estate (all this still in 1996).
