Thomas Robinson's Will: In the name of God amen, I Thomas Robinson low in
health but of sound mind and perfect since am believing that it is once
appointed for man to die therefore I do make my last intended will in
testimony. I leave my land to my wife Francis Robertson and son John Robinson
thirty seven and a half acres we now live on and also leave my wife Francis
Robertson all the estate that coming to her from her from her father John Cole
that I made Wm. Cole Srs of Halifax County Virginia power of atty to attend to
her life time at his death to be equally devided between my five children John
Robinson James Robinson Polly Shearwood Edy C Robinson Cindy Robinson. I leave
my wife the executer of my estate Frances Robinson therefore is will never be
void nor disputed therefore set my hand and seal this 31st day of March 1830.

Robinson deed by me Robert S Morris Clerk of the County Court of Rutherford. I
find that the sad Read is chargeable as follow to wit to amount of sale as
returned heretofore in the sum of $27.56
And I also find that the said administrator is entitled to the following
credits to wit
Paid Johnson and Mardy as the rent $3.00
Paid James Robinson act 14.87
Paid Edy Robinson act 1.50
Paid Clerk letters of administ 1.50
Paid John Hott for crying sale .50
Clerk fees for the settlement and recording the
same 2.50
Allowance to administrator for his services 4.00
$27.00
Which leaves the estate in debt to the administrator in the sum of 25 cents.
