    Parents of G.W. Horton: Polly (1798-1854) and Daniel Horton (1796-aft. 1860) were born in South Carolina and migrated to Gwinnett Co., Georgia. They had 12 children. After Polly's death Daniel moved to Marshall Co., Alabama with six of his children and their families.
