Family Photos

  • Who are they? (146 KB)
This is a photo found my grandfathers belongings. We believe it to be a photo of his fathers family or his mothers family. These people would be either Shelton, Gambrels, Gray, or Blakley. Does anyone recognize them? If you do please contact us The photo was taken in Southeastern KY, possibly Whitley or Bell or Knox county.
  • Eliza Warren, Jones, Merida, Riley "Granny Riley" (65 KB)
Eliza Warren, Jones, Merida, Riley "Granny Riley" died in 1944. Death certificate is filed with state of Kentucky under the name Lizza Riley. Jim Jones listed as informant on the certificate. List father as Clark Warren and mother as Catherine Hall. Clark Warren was William Clark Warren, served in the Civil War.
  • Marriage Record For Elijah Gregory & Nancy ??? (27 KB)
This is the written marriage record for Elijah Gregory and Nancy Ragan. Some family researchers beleive that she was not a Ragan, that she was an Abbott or Rice. I am still researching this and one reason is that in the marriage record above the one for Elijah and Nancy, there is a marriage recorded for a Nancy Ragan, and some of us think that when this was written the person looked up and saw the entry above and inadvertantly - our Nancy also became a Nancy Ragan//////??? Any assistance appreciated.
