Updated March 21, 2010

I'm relatively new to the search for my family tree, and very new to the software, but in less than a year I have well over 100 names, dating back to the late 1600's.

My father and I recently finished tracking down a relative that had been a Civil War veteran who was buried in an unmarked grave in Colorado, and through our efforts, we got the V.A. to provide us with a military headstone to mark his grave.

I'm looking forward to learning how to pursue this quest from the rest of the old-hands around here.
