I am researching the Herron, Baxley and Walters family names.Joe William Herron born 1806 in Hancock Co TN is the earliest Herron ancestor I can find. Riley Baxley born about 1833 in Barbour Co. Alabama is my earliest Baxley ancestor. My Great Grandfather is Wylie Sanford Walters born in Tupelo, MS in 1862. His father, name unknown died in the civil war in 1864. The Walters family lived in Wylie and McKinney Texas. The Herrons and Baxleys came from TN SC GA and AL |
