I am descended from Richard Andrew HERRIOTT, born abt 1832 in Birmingham, Warwickshire; and Fanny ANDREWS, born abt 1835 in Ditchfield, Sussex. Todate I have been unable to trace any record of their marriage.

Their youngest son, my grandfather, was George Frederick HERRIOTT, born 23 September 1875 in Aston, Birmingham. He married Mary Jane MOUNTNEY, born 21 June 1878 in Aston, Birmingham, the daughter of William MOUNTNEY and Emma LINFORTH.

George & Mary had 4 children, the youngest of whom, my father, was Raymond Ernest HERRIOTT, born 12 July 1908 in Aston, Birmingham. He married Edith Gladys MEADOWS in August 1934 and settled down at Tile Cross, near Marston Green, Warwickshire, where I was subsequently born in 1936.

Raymond had twin sisters and one older brother, Harry. Harry married Ivy FOSTER and had two children, Jean and Ron. Unfortunately I have lost contact with both of these cousins.

I am also researching the following names on my mother's family -
MEADOWS of Worcestershire; COATES and DODD of Warwickshire.

Anyone with an interest in any of these family names, or is aware of any decendants, is asked to contact me via my e-mail address as above.
