She was born March 17, 1869 in Forde, Norway, and died May 07, 1950 in her home in West Golden, Sunday evening..

ERTEL JOHNSON AREKLET:
Bert arrived in the United States from Naristdal. Norway at the age of 21. He was employed in the lumber mills of Montague for a brief time.

Bert bought the farm in West Golden in 1894. The same year he married Lena Andrews.

ENA ANDREWS:
Lena Andrews came to the United States from Forde, Norway at the age of 20 years. She lived for a time in Rockford, Ill. Later in Muskegon where she married Bert Areklet. They located in West Golden in 1925.

Lena died at her home on Sunday evening unexpectedly.

Besides her family she left two sisters in Norway.

Prayer services were held at the Tate Funeral Home, Funeral rites were held at the West Golden Wesleyan Methodist Church. The Rev. Walter Rose officiated the burial ceremony. She is buried at the Hart Cemetery.

Jennie attended Golden and Hart school and business college.

Jennie taught school in Hart and Manistee schools. She also worked at Larson's Feed Store for a number of years.
