Gravesite of John Herring, b. 9-12-1827 in Edgefield Co. S.C. Died 1-13-1905 in Hokes Bluff, Alabama. Buried at Tilleson cemetery Glencoe, AL. alongside wife Lucinda Reames Herring.
Served in Confederacy from 1862 to war end with brother Jonathan in Co.K, 2nd SC Artillery.
