David / Blanchard Families of South Louisiana Home Page

I am researching the David / Blanchard families from South Louisiana. These families intermingled and go back to Louis David who was born in France and came to New Orleans by ship.
Louis married Celeste Gros and settled on Bayou Lafourche in the Assumption Parish area.

All the information I have available was obtained from my Aunt Stella David of New Orleans who is no longer living.

Any information would be appreciated as we have not had any luck going back any further than Louis.
