The Information in this tree was collected over a number of years. However while the majority of the information revealed the Dickfos/Schossow side of the family, the Annesley side posed a few problems.
My grandfather's natural father Claude Harold Annesley seemed to have dissappeared some time around 1925, after divorcing his wife. Claude was born in 1882 in Chaoching (Does anybody know where this is?) China to Arthur and Ellen (nee Jennings) Annesley. I am not sure why they were in China, or for how long they stayed there. Information on Claude and his parents is thin up until 1910 when he married Katie Isabelle Jillet in Tambo, Australia. I do know however that he served in the Imperial Army in the Boer War (however not under an Australian section). If anybody could point me in the right direction or knows anything of Claude Annesley or his ancestors, could you please contact me as I am at a loss for information and would be happy to share any knowledge that I have.
