| Researching the ancestors and relatives of Marcus Allen Miller and Ida Myrtle Deering, my maternal grandparents. Both born in or around Tolar, Hood County, Texas in the late 1800's. Marcus son of Leonidus Clifford (b. 1832 in Kentucky; d. 1905 in Tolar, Texas) and Anne H.J.(Eaves)Miller (b. 1849 in Alabama; d. 1924 in Clyde, Texas). Ida daughter of William Knox (b.1868 in Pickens Co., Georgia; d. 1936 in Tolar, Texas) and Cynthia Ann (Searcy)(b. 1870 in Georgia; d. 1952 in Cresson, Texas) Deering. Other family names include Lambert, Knox, Roberts, Bailey, Stockton. To date have gathered over 1500 names of members of these families, including those who have married into it. Am interested in making contact with anyone who has, or may have, a connection to any of the names listed above. Am happy to share any information that I have. |
