THE TREADWELL FAMILY began as early as 1873 with Charles B. Treadwell,born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1873; met Albertha Hackett born 1879, also in Brooklyn, N.Y. They met in 1902, married one year later March 1903. Born the following year was a baby girl,Edna on June 25, 1904. Edna grew into a beautiful woman who met Joe L. Herrera in 1918.Joe was from the Family of Louis Herrera and Ohenya Carrero from Puerto Rico. Joe was born January 16, 1898. They were married in 1919. Four children were
conceived from this marriage, Joseph Junior, Gloria Albertha,
Fermina, and James B.

Joe Junior married Mildred Strong in 1939. Five children were
conceived during this marriage, Josephine, Milton, Tommy,
Joseph III, and Mildred.

Gloria married John. G. Robinson in 1939. Six children were con-
ceived during this marriage, Jacqueline, Gwendolyn, Edna Mae, James Ray, Gloria Albertha II, and John G. Junior.

Fermina married Michael Tear in 1940. Two daughters were conceived during this marriage. James B. married Donya Lamb
in 1964, and had five children Yvonne, Qunetin, Michelle,
Donell, and Michael.

This was the beginning of the family we know today; Seven
Generations stemming from the Treadwell Union.
