This is the beginning of my family research, going from Seidlitz to the Herling, Kintop, Witzke and Bilof families.

All 4 of my grandparents came to America from Poland at the beginning of the 20th century. I also know that the Herlings lived in Germany for many years, and had a castle south of Hannover until it was destroyed in the mid-1600s.

The internet has provided a great deal of information, along with various family records acquired. But I see the need to make a trip to Poland and Germany to access birth, death and marriage records at the churches and government offices there.

Other names in this tree include: Bush, Dej, Dey, Hohertz, Krentz, Lau, Martin, Polej, Radtke, Rinas, Schmidt, Schneider, and Zielke.

Any additions or corrections to the information I've listed are welcome - - please contact me at the email address listed above.
