The purpose of this page spark interest in the Herrig ancestry. I hope to provide and receive information pertaining to the Surname "Herrig" and establish all possible connections. My primary concentration is with all descendents stemming from the Herrig's, who Immigrated from Luxembourg in the late 1850's and settled in ST. Donatus, Iowa. I currently have 1835 names that relate in some manner to the Herrig's and the St. Donatus settlement. To view the Data Click the "Report" BELOW... To scroll through Click the "Next Page" or Click on the "+" next to the Name for the Descendents.. The Report is pretty Big over 50 pages, so be patient... The report of John Herrig is the master report starting from the 1750's in Luxembourg. The other reports are of the four Herrig brothers who settled in St. Donatus, Ia. The report (Book) is a replica of a print that I produced for family.

Note; All information is presented in the most accurate possible form that I had available at the time this was posted. Sorry, for any incorrect information, please feel free to e-mail me to bring any discrepancies to my notice. One purpose in having the data available for viewing is to validate it.

I want to express a special "Thanks" to all those that have helped me in creating this Report so far and Invite all others to help make future additions and connections.
My special "Thanks" go to: Nester Herrig, Rosemary Franzen, Merlin & Lyda Herrig, John Koch, Bernice Kluber and the Herrig's of the past, present and future generations..

An Extra Special "Thanks You" to: Judy Nemmers who sparked my interest in a trip tp Luxembourg and started the this whole thing!!!!
Information and request should be sent to herrigk@interquest.de
