The Herbison Genalogy

I am a Descendant of John Herbison Born on 27 Mar 1821 in Ireland and died on 13 Aug 1879 in Pierce County, WI. John married Elisabeth McCleary in 1838 (Month and date not known). Elisabeth was born ob 29 OCt 1890 in Ireland (location not Known). They had 10 children: John (nicknamed Jack), Mary Jane,Samuel, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann, Sarah Ann, Archie, Hester, David Henry, Thomas Valentine and William James.

Only other information known about John Herbison is that he had a sister Elizabeth that married John McCleary (which was brother to Elisabeth (his wife)and that his son.

Also John alway signed his name with a "X". His son John (Jack) alway insisted everone spelled it wrong, he stated that his last name was spelled Harbison. Maybe he was correct because he was 10 year's old when he left Ireland.

I can find no one anywhere to link my Ancestry beyond John Herbison, to a family in Ireland. I'll keep on trying.

I am looking for others welling to share information about any Herbison family in the USA. Maybe this way I can link my family to a Herbison living in Ireland. There are stell alot of Herbison's in Ireland, but John Herbison to this date have not been link to anyone in Ireland
