Find Family

I am researching the William HESLER/HESSLER family, he was a Hessian soldier, who desserted the English and joined the Colonists in their efforts to get control of their own destiny.
The family settled in the Kentucky and Ohio area and later migrated west to Indiana and Illinios. Jacob Hesler, my direct ancestor, settled in Fountain Co., Indiana in 1834. The family is still a part of area today.

I will be including reports in this page that show the information I have collected. The reports will be changed from time to time, as the Family Tree Maker database inclues over 8500 names, in order to give as much information as possible about the family.

Future reports will include the FURR, BOOE, COATS and FRAZIER families and their connections to the Heslers. I also have information on the BALCH and WHITE families that are a part of my grandmother's family.

If you have information that can be included for any of these families, please E-mail me, I will be glad to share information.

For a more complete record of my family history, please check out my Web Site, it has recently been completely reworked.

I have also started 2 maillists, HESLER-L and FELTON-L, please join us if you are interested in either of these families. The HESLER-L list deals with all of the known Hesler families and the variant spellings. To join send e-mail HESLER-L-request@ rootsweb.com or FELTON-L-request@rootsweb.com, with one word only in the message, SUBSCRIBE, please turn signature files off. We will be glad to have you join us.
