James Borthwick married to Margaret Byres

James Borthwick married to Margaret Byres with children: James, Griselda, George, John M., Jane, Alexander, and William. James immigrated from Scotland to Albany, N.Y. late in 1773 according to Halsey M. Borthwick. They remained for a time in New Scotland with friends, then they went to Rensselaerville. From there they went to Middleburg and settled near Middle Fort. After the Revolutionary War they went to Rensselaerville, Albany County, New York.

This genealogy is only current to 1936. This is just my contribution to help other researchers--it's not my lineage, therefore no updates will be added.
