| Andrew MANAR is my brickwall. Everyone of us has one, Andrew ismine. He was my great grandfather. He was born either in Pennsylvania or Illinois. He was always 3 years younger than grandma when the census taker came around. Grandma played fast and loose with her birthday. Near as I can figure Andrew was born sometime between 1848 - 1860. He married Mary Knowles sometime before 1881. Mary was born in Glasgow Scotland. There ch: W. R. born 1881 died before 1895 Vina Jane b 1883 m John EVERITT d 1934 Mattie Mae b 1885 m C F BRAND d 1950 Nancy b 1886 m John NEEDHAM d 1952 Robert W b 1886 m Frances ADKINS d 1947 Ethel Sybil b 1894 m Otto PRUITT d 1956 Mary died in 1928 and is buried in Cherokee Co KS. Andrew? Well he is still a mystery. Close as I can figure he died near Faulkner Ks sometime between 1895 - 1900. They owned no land and left no wills. No obituary has been found. There was no marker in any cemetery in Cherokee Co Ks. There is no burial record either. Andrew just disappears..............
