Looking for information about the William Smith (Russellville, AL to Forrest City, AR) family and Walter Thomas (previously Walter Dennis)(Tupelo, MS to Forrest City, AR) family.
The Robert McAllister family from Forrest City is also one I am
researching but finding very little information about. His mother was Missie Magnolia Jones McAllister. Family lore has it, her mother named her Missie to insure she would be addressed properly. His father was Henry Robert McAllister.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to share any
information I have gathered.
All families mentioned above are African American, with William Smith born circa 1865 having a Caucasian father.
