Notes for James Edward Hickerson: Obituary Notice in paper: J.E. Hickerson, 75, former resident of Dardanelle, died yesterday in a Tulsa Oklahoma hospital after a brief illness. He was a life resident of Dardanelle, Arkansas, until he moved to Tulsa five months ago by his employer the (Rock Island) Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was employed until his retirement ten years ago. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie Cannon Hickerson, three daughters, Mrs. Marie Dacus, Dardanelle, AR., Mrs. W.C. Jaggers, Little Rock, and Mrs. Dorothy Dziga, Wallington, NJ. Three sons, Lamar, Vernon, and R.E. Hickerson, all of Tulsa, OK.
Services will be held at Centerview Baptist Church Friday at 2:30 PM. Rev. Hern will officiate. Cornwell Funeral home of Dardanelle will handle the Arrangements. Code JEH001.
