(Medical):Dr. Merlin Hicks graduated from the Faculty of medicine, U. of T. Toronto and joined the R.C.A.F. He married Rita Florence Walsh a graduate of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal. Dr. Hicks becam a highyl-respected neuro-surgeon in Sherbrooke, P.Q. At age 57 he was suddely stricken while playing golf, his favourite pastime, at his Country Club in Sherbrooke.
