ANNIE DOWNING:
An account of the Church at Candy's Creek, Cherokee Nation, 1 Jan 1828;
Nancy Field- She is consort of Thomas F. They have seven promising children, six of which are baptized. She is the last who has been admitted to our fellowship. Being naturally of a jovial talkative turn, it is her easily besetting sin to indulge in criminal levity, yet we think her a sincere follower of the Lord. She also manufactures cloth for the supply of her family.
