Starr's listings for Josiah's wives, Laura Adair Wilson and Laura Alice Buffington, are cornfuzing the heck outta me. The Miller ap# 140, for daughter, Rachel Green nee Henry, only mentions Laura Alice Buffington. The Miller ap# 138 for his wife is filed under the name Laura A Henry, who seems to have been Laura A Buffington; did she also marry a Wilson, making her a Laura A Wilson nee Buffington?

On the 1880 census there is som confusion between Joseph and his brother John. John is listed but Joseph is not. John is listed as being born in 1877 and is annotated by Dawes as having died before 1902; however, John was in Colorado and filed his Miller application from there in 1906 giving his birth date as 1872. On the 1890 census both John and Joseph are listed with John being born 1872 and Joseph born 1877. Joseph does not appear on the Dawes or the Miller.
