This is a portrait of Cora Frazee, ca 1890, who was born Apr 14, 1870, in Bassett, Iowa, to John & Cyrena (Beckwith) Frazee. She married James Henry Tolle on 13 Aug 1891. Jim and Cora had 10 children - one son to die in infancy. Then there were 8 girls (the oldest my grandmother, Mary Effie Tolle) and one son, Glenn Frazee Tolle. My grandmother - Effie - was born in the same house as her mother, my great-grandmother Cora. Cora died in 1953, and is buried beside her husband, Jim, in Beckwith Cemetery, in Charles City, Iowa. Jim, however, outlived his beloved wife by 10 years...passing away in 1963.
