| In the 1800's, two families came from Virgina to a small town in St Mary Parish called, Pattersonville, Louisiana--The Elmore's and the Davis'. Around that same time, two other families came together to Hallettsville, Texas--The Hicks' and the Lawson's. Within these branches surnames came about like:Bailey, Asberry, Strauthers, Simmons, Poingsett, Jefferson, Turnbough, Banks, Smith, Richardson, Jones, Burton, Shivers, Parker, Chu, Gardner, Campbell, Maxwell, Scarborough, Turner, Triggs, Brown, McCall, Haywood, Sanders, Lewis, Hobbs, Lemmon, Sampson, Pearlman, King, Neeley, Robertson, Cambric.There maybe a few smaller branches that I missed in the list but there is one thing for sure, they are the makings of My Families Roots.So if there are any Tree Climbers out there that have any of these names swing on your branches, Please Email and lets grow a forrest together!
