52. DANIEL4 HICKOCK (EBENEZER3, SAMUEL2, WILLIAM1) was born 1747 in Bethel Conn, and died December 24, 1835 in Bethel Conn. He married (1) MERCY STARR. He married (2) LUCY STARR November 23, 1767.

Notes for DANIEL HICKOCK:
Daniel was an Ensign and Captain of Conn. militia in the Revolutionary War
under Col. Samuel Whiting 1776 and turned out at the New Haven Alarm. At the
age of 84, he was placed on the pension roll of Fairfield Co. 1831 for service
as Ensign and Captain of Conn. Militia.

married 5/27/1773, Andrew Comstock of Bethel, b. 3/8/1752, d. 3/7/1789.

53. BENJAMIN4 HICKOCK (EBENEZER3, SAMUEL2, WILLIAM1) was born 1750 in Bethel Conn, and died January 08, 1816 in Bethel Conn. He married RACHEL BARNUM.

Notes for BENJAMIN HICKOCK:
He was Lieutenant 1772, 4th Cavalry, 3rd Reg., 3rd Brigade. Later in
Revolution became a Major. He enlisted as an Ensign then Captain and later
Major. Benjamin Hickok 1776, entered the army as an Ensign and rose to the
rank of Captain during the Revolution. Upon his tombstone his title of Major
is given.
