Son of Thomas Drakely of London, England, who came early to Woodbury (via
Stratford), where he had a houselot in 1685. (A Drakely coat-of-arms is given
on page 539 of Cothren's Woodbury.) His wife was Lydia Brooks, which Lydia
Brooks this is I have not yet been able to determine. She may have been
related to John and/or Henry Brooks who were in New Haven in 1650.

Peace for Fairfield County May 1744; reappointed 1745.
