Shirley Louise Hieter

Families I am researching:
The John Henry Snyder family. I know that they were living in Green County, Wisconsin in 1865. They had a son, George Watson Snyder, who is my grandfather and he migrated to Washington and Oregon.

The Manuel Brown family from Oklahoma. I know that Manuel's father was James Lazurus. James' wife is listed only as "Indian Woman." Manuel married Sular Whittington and they migrated from Oklahoma about 1926 to Washington state.

The Oscar Hieter family. I know that he was born in Nebraska and came to Idaho, eventually settling in Oregon.

Any information provided will be appreciated. Thanks.

The Lawrence Hawes family. He died in LaGrande, Oregon about 1950 and was married to Emma Bickford. They had five children, Norma, Phyllis, Kenneth, Doris, Ronald and Ruby. After Mr. Hawes death, Emma married Leo Lemna and moved to Tacoma, Washington. She died there in 1996.

I am also researching the Morrison Groom family, from Waitsburg, Oregon. My grandmother, Ollie Groom-Snyder, was his daughter. She married George Watson Snyder and they moved to central Oregon, and then eventually to Aumsville, Oregon, which is close to Salem, Oregon.
