Robert Elwood Higgins (b. January 16, 1907, d. June 07, 1971)

Robert Elwood Higgins (son of James Albert Higgins and Elizabeth Alexandra Guest) was born January 16, 1907 in Baltimreo, Md., and died June 07, 1971 in Baltimore, Md.⁵². He married Marie Agnes Coyne on December 28, 1940 in Baltimore, Md., daughter of Michael Edward Coyne and Daisy Estelle Foard.

Notes for Robert Elwood Higgins:
Robert was always know as "Slim".

Robert had testicular cancer when he was a teenager. That is the reason he and Marie never had any children. After their marriage, Robert had throat cancer. After an operation he was declared fully recovered. He died of a reoccurrence of throat cancer in 1972.

Robert lived with the Steadman's on Dukeland Street for a while.

The witnesses at Robert and Marie's wedding were Edward J. Coyne and Virginia Coyne. They were married by the Rev. Louis V. Still according to their marriage certificate.

Robert & Marie are buried in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Lot 339 Section 11 graves I & J
