I am searching for decendants of Amos Hill and Hannah Wilson. Amos, son of David Hill and Martha A. Hunt, was born in Muncy, Lycoming County, PA on April 23, 1829. Amos married Hannah in White Rock, Illinois June 11, 1853. They had 6 children. Amos served in the Union Army from 1862-1865. He was part of the Army of the Potomac, serving under Gen. U.S. Grant and Gen. Meade. He was captured at the Battle of Cold Harbor and served 6 months in Andersonville as a prisoner of war until the end of the Civil War. Amos, Hannah and the 5 living children then moved to Clay Center, Kansas. I have information on both Amos and Hannah's parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
