I am researching the following surnames:CARRAWAY, DRIGGERS, KELLEY, HATTAWAY, and HILL. The states are; SC, GA, FL & others.
All Reports here-in are on-going. One can find voluminous material concerning the Families mentioned, of varying degrees of reliability. I mean to use here what seems most reliable, knowing that mistakes have been and will be made. I started doing research in hopes to help my Father,who has been researching for many years on the HILL, DRIGGERS and KELLEY Families. In my researching, for the past years, I have received tons of information from descendants of the CARAWAY/CARRAWAY, DRIGGERS, HATTAWAY, HILL & KELLEY Families through family members and the internet. They have all kindly provided me with material and information.
My brick wall in this research has been on Thomas J. Hill. Records have recorded his middle initial as "J", "T", "G" & "A". On the marriage certificate that I have, the hand writing is done in a fancy type handwriting. Any help will be appreciated!
