Hurshman/Hiltz of Nova Scotia

My maiden name is Hurshman and I am looking for more information on my family, I am called by my Middle name which is Jean. I'm finding it very hard to find information on my family, would love any help that is out there.
My Great Grandfather was John Hurshman he married a woman by the name of Elizabeth Lowe,their children were, William Andrew (my grandfather) Josiah and Alice.
William Andrew Hurshman was my grandfather, the family was from Tantallon, Halifax County, Nova Scotia.
