Johann George Londt born in Kalbach, Germany born in 1784 and has bought this Bible in year 1828.---My son, Johann Heinrich Londt, is born on 7 March 1824 in the morning about 1o'clock. Bible in possession of the Howard Edward Londt family of Wolf Lake, IN USA.

My Great Grandfather was born and died in Germany. His was (German) Johann George Londt--Born in Kalback in June 1788-no date of death
He married Dorothy Londine on Mar. 3, 1816. They had 2 children:
(Ann2) Pasidina Londine, born Nov. 1817
Johann Heinrich (John Henry) Londt, born Mar. 7, 1824. My grandfather went by the name of Henry. Born in Germany, died in Jefferson township, Whitley Co., Ind. in 1900. Burried in Jefferson Chapel Cemetery.
My grandfather was discharged with honor from German Army in Aug. 29, 1849. He came to America with his sister shortly after that, as their parents were both dead. He married Margarita Weintl (Weintel). They made their home in Pittsburg, Pa. They Had 4 children:
Caroline Plummer (Aunt Cal)
Katherin Crowell (Aunt Kate)
Henry Londt, Jr (killed while digging a well, July 2, 1884k 28 yrs old.)
George Londt, My father, born at Pittsburg, Pa. May 121, 1857. Moved to Whitley County, Ind. at age 9. Died in Ft. Wayne, Ind. July 24, 1938.

David died Nov. 14 , 1887--72 yrs. old. Sarah died Apr. 29, 1893--58 yrs. old. They had 6 children: 3 boys & 3 girls:

George died July 24 1938--Laura died Nov. 24 , 1940.

My folks lived here on the farm most of their lives. (George & Laura)
The last few years they lived in Ft. Wayne. Both are burried in Jefferson Chapel Cemetery. Their children have all passed away except myself
(Alice Fowler) and Bertha Smith Helvie. Bertha is 82 yrs. old now and I am 70.
My husband (Forest) and I bought the farm after my folks died and our son, Bill, lives there now and we live across the road on another farm we bought.
My grandfather, J. Henry Londt, lived 3/4 mile west of here. The house has been remodeled, but some of the foundation ofthe old barn is still there that my grandfather put in. They moved here from Pittsburg, Pa. when my father was 9 yrs. old. When my father bought this farm it was all woods here where he built the buildings, and had to clear it off.
