Notes for Farquhar Munro: Ferquhar Munro of Teanard and his five brothers were known as "Sliochd Alasdair mhic Huistain." Teanard formed the north or upper half of the lands of Kiltearn and Ferquhar sometimes appears as portioner of Kiltern.
His wife was the daughter of McGillespick, rentaller of Fyrish.

Alexander Munro of Kiltearn married a daughter of Ferquhar McLean of Davochgerrie by whom he had Mr Donald Hugh Alexr. of Ardulli John of Kiltearn Ferquhar of Teanard William of Culcraigie all considerable families flourishing in several Branches.

Ferquhar of Teanard his 4 son married Anne daughter to McGillespick Rentaller of ffyrish by whom he had Williamd and Alexander and a daughter fflorence married to Dingwall Bailzie of Dingwall.
Teanaird formed north or uper half of lands of Kiltearn and Farquhar sometimes appears a portioner of Kiltearn (FW 140, 255, 300). Mackenzie 400-1 sometimes confuses this Farquhar with grandson M/78.
Farquharbought the lands of Milntown of Alness from Robert Gray of Arboll for 4000 Scots merks on 7 Jun 1650. He sold this property on 5 Mar 1666 to Hugh Munro of Teaninich for the same amount.
Hugh was an elder of the Kiltearn Parish.
