Researching the Hillegass/Hilligoss genealogy from Hans Peter Hillegass (1649-10/12/1719) of Sinsheim, Baden, Germany. Three of his sons emigrated to America in the early 1700's along with a nephew. All settled in the area of Philadelphia, PA. Have currently accumulated a data base of over 22000 names. I have them in two groups, namely (i) those that I have been able to link as direct descendants of Hans Peter and (ii) those that I have not yet been able to link as a direct descendants. Would be happy to excange any information with those who are interested in the Hillegass/Hilligoss line. I have recently published my research in a set of three books entitled, "A Genealogy of the Hillegass/Hilligoss Family in America" covering 13 generations.
